2 Months Old

Little Miss Carolyn is already 2 months old! We took her to the doctor this morning and she is growing like a weed! She is 23.5" long (90%) and weighs 12lbs 3oz (90%). The doctor did prescriber her some acid reflux/heartburn medicine based on the symptoms I described to him. Hopefully that will help her out and not be so fussy. We will start her on that tonight. She got some shots today and she took those well - she stopped crying once I picked her up. That was nice. All in all she is a thriving little baby! We go back in two months.

Carolyn loves to smile and coo too - especially at her mommy. It is such a pretty little smile. She is waking up about once per night - which I do not mind at all. I still sleep more than I did when I was pregnant with her so I am so thankful. She is still in the bed with us for half the night and I have no idea when I will be ready to give that up. I love having her so close to me. She is just so precious. Here are some more shots from our photo shoot today :) Will wanted in on the action.

A visit with Zack and Kim!

We had such a great weekend! Zack and Kim came to visit so they could meet Carolyn. We are so glad they came and Will loved it. He loved being swung around by his Uncle Zack and watching the boys play guitar hero! We hope to get to visit more often with them.

Renaissance Festival

Saturday we ventured to the Renaissance Festival and it was amazing! We saw so many different kinds of costumes from all eras and it was huge! They had all kinds of foods, drinks, and booths. You could ride elephants, camels, and ponies. Will went on his very first pony ride too. He got scared when the guy tied him on but once the pony moved he was good. Of course he held my hand the entire time :) I really want a costume - maybe one year I will buy one. We will definitely go back - it was hands down better than the one in the Tulsa area.

Beautiful Girl

Carolyn smiles! Her first one was a little after 4 weeks to me but now she finally smiles at Jake and much more frequent. She is so beautiful. Here are a few shots of her and some of her smiles. It sure is hard to get them on camera but I managed. Love it!

21 months!

Will is growing so fast. His vocab is amazing now - he knows and tries so many new words. He even started saying Mommy this month - yay!!! It is important to watch what you saw about him since he will no doubt repeat it ;) Will understands so much of what we are saying to him too. His grasps of what is going on around his has really grown this past month. He is also really started the terrible two's a bit early! One of the video's below was taken this morning. He was such a bear! He eventually calmed down enough to drink his milk but man it sure took a while - ha! He woke up too early is my guess. 6am is not a good wakeup time. Luckily Carolyn slept through it all. Speaking of Carolyn, Will really has amazed me with how he has adjusted to her. He is doing so well. He is concerned when she cries, brings me things to help, and insists on giving her kissies all the time. It makes my heart so happy! What an amazing boy.
